| Morning Glory Coffee
Cookies | Ingredients:
½ cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Morning Glory Old Fashioned Coffee Syrup
1 egg
¾ cup sifted all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Cream shortening and sugar until very light and fluffy. Add other
ingredients.
Arrange by teaspoonfuls on a non-stick cookie sheet or baking stone. Bake
at 350 degrees
until
edges are firm and top is dry (about 10 to 12 minutes). Cookies will be a
thin, crisp wafer. For thicker, chewy cookies, add an additional 1/3 cup of
flour.

Mocha |
Ingredients:
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons cocoa
½ cup Morning Glory Old Fashioned Coffee Syrup
4 cups milk
Combine syrup, cocoa and cinnamon in a medium saucepan until dissolved and
consistency is smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Warm over medium heat,
stirring constantly until hot. Do not boil. Remove from heat. Top with
whipped cream before serving.

Morning Glory Coffee Cheesecake
Oreo
Cookie Crust |
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups oreo cookies (16 cookies) 2 tablespoons melted
butter
In a food processor, finely process cookies and butter until evenly
distributed.
In a 9 inch glass pie plate press cookie crust evenly to bottom and sides.
Refrigerate for 20 min.
Cheesecake preparation: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2-8 oz. packages cream cheese (1 lb.)
1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs slightly beaten
¼ cup Morning Glory Old Fashioned Coffee Syrup
pinch of salt
Combine cream cheese, sugar and salt until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time until fully blended. Add vanilla and Morning Glory
Old Fashioned Coffee Syrup and mix thoroughly. Pour into oreo cookie crust.
Optional: Swirl coffee syrup into already poured cream cheese filling before
cooking.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min or until center is almost set. Cool, then
refrigerate for 3 hours. Garnish with grated semi-sweet chocolate or
chocolate
curls and top with whipped cream. Makes 8
servings. |
